This leash exceeded our expectations. We love hiking with our lab and like to drop the leash on our walks to give him some freedom but still be able to grab hold when needed. This means the leash drags through snow, dirt and mud. I had looked at biothane leashes in the past but wasn't sure it would stand up to our 105 lb lab. After research, we ordered a 9 foot one inch thick leash with the nickel clip and no metal circle on the handle. I was able to personalize this request easily after contacting Amanda who got right back to me. The leash arrived quickly and we love it! The rubbery feel of the coating makes it nice to hold. There is a bit of weight to the biothane and the leash weighs more than our 9 foot Leerburg leather leash. If you have a small dog, I'd recommend the thinner width due to weight.
