Our martingale collars are ideal for dogs who need a touch of correction during walks, or for dogs who have the tendency to back out of flat collars. Perfect for the adventurous pup, all of our products are waterproof, stinkproof and stain resistant! All of our gear is made from Biothane, an extremely durable material that has the soft, flexible feel of broken in leather, even in freezing temperatures. Our products are completely vegan, and lovingly crafted by hand here in Canada.
SIZING INFO - Please measure carefully as these are custom made for your pup, and non adjustable. The measurement you give, ex: 18 inches, will be the entire inner circumference of the collar when sitting relaxed, not pulled tight. Measure your dog's neck with a soft measuring tape, placing the tape around the area where your dog wears their collar, or you can take your pup's current collar off, do it up to the size where they comfortably wear it, and then measure the inside circumference with a measuring tape. It's also a good idea to try sliding the collar on and off at that size while done up, to make sure that it will fit over their head. If your pup has a wider head than neck or you prefer a looser fit, you may want to add an extra .5 to 1 inch to your measurement. HARDWARE - Brass hardware will create carbon over time, just like fine jewelry. This can easily be polished away with a soft cloth, but for white or light coated dogs, this carbon may give a slight grey cast to the neck fur. To avoid this, we recommend going with the nickel hardware if your dog has light fur at the neck area.

Love, love love the collar, but I went with the size recommendation from the person in the chat and unfortunately it is too small. It goes on very easily, but is too hard to hard to get off. So sadly will not be able to use it

I bought two of these collars for my dog, one with brass hardware and one with galaxy chrome.
I love the colours, and how the collars are basically impossible to get dirty. They're light and strong, and they don't get soggy when it's wet out.
The two collars were meant to be the same size, but they're noticeably different (I double checked to make sure the sizes matched in the order). The one with the brass hardware is the size that I ordered, and it fits better than the galaxy chrome option, which is noticeably larger. Both collars have 16 links in the chain section, but the galaxy chrome links are smaller than the brass links. Not a big deal for us though, luckily - the galaxy chrome collar just sits a bit lower than expected. At first I worried that it would make it easier for her to back out of the collar (why she wears a martingale), but she hasn't so far (although did get close once).
I was expecting the colours to wear off the galaxy chrome eventually, but I will admit they started wearing off faster than expected (maybe because of salt water?). Just a bit so far, though.
All in all, high quality and nice to look at! Would recommend, and will purchase from here again.
I absolutely LOVE the quality of these collars. They are extremely well made, easy to clean and virtually indestructible.
Customer service is also incredible! After ordering the wrong size (my fault) I contacted the seller and they were so kind and patient in advising me so that I could order the correct size.
